Milburn is a former Labour health minister who led reforms that increased private sector involvement in the health service.

Since leaving government he has made more than £8m from working as a consultant to the private health sector, according to the news website Democracy for Sale.

He is currently serving as an advisor to the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Wes Streeting.
