Blue WV was set up as a “professional membership organisation” by Tom Tugendhat’s former special advisers Patrick Spencer and Guy Miscampbell in 2023.

The company was used to fund Tugendhat’s leadership campaign the following year.

Hedge fund boss Reade Griffith donated £40,000 to the campaign through Blue WV.

Griffith is the co-founder and chief investment officer of asset management company Tetragon Financial Group, which owns a number of private cancer treatment centres. Two of its centres appear to have been sold to the NHS.
